School Choice
Education Freedom for Every Child
As a strong advocate for empowering parents to meet the needs of every child, I support Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) in Virginia. Drawing from the proven research and advocacy of experts like Corey DeAngelis and the American Federation for Children.
Too many Virginia children are trapped in underperforming schools based on their ZIP code, limiting their opportunities and future success—yet studies show that school choice programs, such as (ESAs) and expanded scholarships, increase student achievement, boost graduation rates, improve parental satisfaction, and even drive public schools to get better through healthy competition.
I believe we must fund students, not systems, so every family—especially lower-income ones—can choose the best educational fit, whether public, charter, private, homeschool, or other options, ensuring all kids have the chance to thrive without bureaucratic barriers.

Housing Affordability
Increasing Supply Through Deregulation
Virginians are facing a serious housing affordability crisis, with median home prices in Northern Virginia at over $700,000, driven by persistent shortages and low inventory that keeps pushing prices up for families, first-time buyers, and renters.
The root cause is often excessive local regulations and lengthy permitting processes that limit new construction and drive up development costs.
I'll champion smart deregulation to increase housing supply, such as streamlining approvals, allowing more density in high-demand areas, reducing unnecessary red tape, and empowering builders to respond to market needs; evidence from across the country shows that loosening these barriers leads to more homes built, greater competition, and lower prices over time, making the American Dream of homeownership more attainable for working families right here in Virginia.
Government Efficiency & Combating Fraud
Audits + Modernization
Virginia taxpayers deserve a government that works efficiently and transparently, free from the waste, bloat, and fraud that drain resources from families and essential services—much like the massive $9+ billion fraud scandal in Minnesota, where federal government funds were exploited through fake organizations and shell companies.
In February, Florida launched a state-level task force to audit agencies, universities, and local spending while cutting red tape. I'll champion legislation to root out inefficiencies, eliminate duplicative programs, modernize operations with AI and data tools, and prevent fraud—saving billions that will LOWER TAXES and ENSURE every dollar reaches the Virginians who truly need the assistance most.
